Our June-July mission work was such a success.  New Vision Ministry has turn a corner and we have such a vision for the work needing to be done there. Hundreds and hundreds of Hondurans were able to see the dentists, doctors and druggist while we were there. The order of events was...first they signed in, got some teeth care instructions, then went to see a doctor/dentist or both.  Then off to the 'drug store' for any medications they were due.  Now they were led to the building where Bible School took place.

Bible School classes were on average, 36 children per session, with sessions lasting from 45 to 60 minutes.  Multiply that times  7-8 sessions per day and that is a lot of kids.  The salvation plan was presented to each class.  

Also on this trip, the need for shoes was evidenced and as a result of one girl, coming barefoot and leaving the same, we decided that shoes would have to be a higher priority.  We ask all who will to simply clean out their closets and place each pair inside a gallon baggie, use a permanent marker to write the size on the shoe bottom and bring them by Morehead Photography, 115 Public Square, Batesville Ms 38606.  You may call the Studio 662-563-7499 for directions or shipping information....remember, you don't need to spend money, just give us what you are no longer using.

We will get these onto the next container, due to ship before too long.  They will be waiting for us the next time a Honduras trip is planned.
